Bangalore – Gallant Sports, a renowned leader in sports infrastructure development, has partnered with two prestigious schools in Bangalore—Treamis School and The School of Raya—to bring world-class sports facilities to their campuses. These collaborations mark a significant step in enhancing the sports environment for students, offering them access to international-standard facilities designed to promote holistic development.
At Treamis School, Gallant Sports was tasked with designing a state-of-the-art facility within a limited space to accommodate various outdoor sports, including football, volleyball, cricket, and kho-kho. The school’s emphasis on balancing academics and sports led them to seek an infrastructure solution that would maximise the use of available space. Gallant Sports responded with an innovative design that featured a combination of 50mm and 40mm surfaces, providing durability and safety for the students. The football turf, with a 50mm pile height, meets international standards for safety and playability, while the 40mm variant ensures a cushioned surface for volleyball. Despite challenges such as rainy weather and limited space, the project was successfully completed, offering a facility that is playable 365 days a year with minimal maintenance, much to the delight of the students and parents alike.
Simultaneously, Gallant Sports partnered with The School of Raya to develop a comprehensive sports infrastructure on its sprawling 9-acre campus. This project included the installation of a football field, running track, tennis courts, an indoor multi-sports arena, cricket pitches, squash courts, and more. Essential support features like fencing, lighting, and drainage were also incorporated to ensure uninterrupted use of the facilities. Although the project faced significant obstacles, including interruptions due to heavy rains and concurrent infrastructure work, Gallant Sports’ expertise ensured timely completion, delivering a facility that caters to a wide range of sports and physical activities.
