The prime objective and the intended purpose of setting up this project to pave opportunity for ancillaries and related consortium’s to evolve and progress in similar domain”, said Mr. Yogesh Goel, Managing Director, SBM Group.
Why this project matters:
- Siliguri serves as a strategic gateway to North Eastern India and neighbouring Bhutan/Nepal, yet lacks large-scale, fully integrated super-specialty hospital infrastructure.
- With rising morbidity, ageing population, lifestyle-driven illnesses and demand for minimally invasive procedures, the new facility will bridge the gap between need and access.
- Through Apollo Spectra’s expertise incutting-edge minimally invasive surgery and faster-turnaround patient pathways, the hospital will enable quicker recovery, lower length of stay and cost efficiencies—supporting the user’s interest in minimally invasive care and faster recovery.
- The collaboration reflects a broader trend of health-care expansion into tier-2 cities, aligning with government initiatives for improving access and reducing regional disparities.
- This partnership directly addresses these gaps by establishing a modern, fully equipped, multispecialty hospital tailored to the evolving healthcare needs of the region. Ranu bairagi
